with background historical information. I've placed the references into three main groups: 1) primary references
most important to the evolution of Alexander scholarship, 2) SNG collections, and 3) other references for cataloging
and background information, and I've ordered the references chronologically within each group. I've preceded with
an asterisk (*) those references I've personally found most useful or interesting for Alexander coinage. This is
